Our SP1 seatpost was developed to offer shock-absorbing capabilities at a low weight. The seat post is a key component for vertical compliance. The experience of developing the most comfortable road bike tested by German Tour and Roadbike magazine* went into this seat post. Our seatpost uses a load specific layup with varying ply count depending on the local stress in the post, not a simple rolled layup. Like this we achieve a weight of 155g without compromising strength.
At 27.2 mm diameter, it fits most modern road and hardtail frames.
